South Carolina's Original Gold. Still cooked like it was in 1939 for 24 hours over hickory coals with the family's secret heirloom sauce, mustard-based Southern Gold. We had a side dish un be known to us. The dish is called Carolina Hash over Rice. ( signature southern hash and fluffy white rice ) I asked what country hash is and the guy told me that it is wet chopped pork, gravy and potatoes.
